Website Privacy Notice
Effective September 2, 2026
Scope
This notice explains how Quad State Internet LLC collects and uses information through quadstateinternet.net, related website forms, and website analytics. Separate agreements may apply to Internet, voice, managed, construction, colocation, and other services.
Information you provide
We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, service address, account or circuit information, mobile line and switching preferences, device model and IMEI submitted for a compatibility check, project requirements, requested services, application materials, and messages. We use this information to respond, check service or device availability, prepare quotes or plans, provide support, process applications, prevent abuse, maintain records, and deliver requested services.
Website analytics and automatically collected information
We use a first-party analytics system hosted with our website to understand site performance, search visibility, referral traffic, campaign results, and lead generation. It may record:
- The page path, page title, date, and time of a visit.
- The referring website's hostname and path, search engine, and campaign tags such as UTM source, medium, and campaign.
- A general device category, such as desktop, mobile, or tablet.
- Limited interaction categories, such as selecting a Mobile plan, changing a line count, requesting a data-use recommendation, moving through a form step, or following a signup link. These events do not include the information entered into form fields.
- A one-way, short-lived session hash used to estimate visits and connect a website visit with a completed lead form.
- The type of completed lead form and its internal reference number.
Our first-party analytics table does not store raw IP addresses, full browser user-agent strings, contact details, form messages, street addresses, or full URL query strings. The approximate session hash is generated from a reduced network prefix and browser information, changes daily, and is not intended to identify a person. Standard security and hosting logs may separately process information such as an IP address to deliver and protect the website.
Cookies and privacy signals
Our first-party traffic measurement does not require an analytics tracking cookie. The site may use limited cookies for form security, authenticated portals, service functionality, and to remember an analytics opt-out request. We honor supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by not adding that request to our first-party analytics table.
How we use and disclose information
We use website information to operate and secure the site, respond to requests, provide and improve services, measure marketing and search performance, detect spam or misuse, comply with law, and protect Quad State Internet, our customers, and others. We may disclose information to vendors that help us host, secure, communicate, or provide services; to professional advisers; when required by law; or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell website analytics data or use our first-party analytics system for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Mobile email choices
Quad State Mobile request confirmations explain why you received the message and include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops Mobile launch announcements and marketing emails. We may still send a direct response or an essential service message when you contact us, submit a new request, or become a customer. To remember the choice, we store a one-way hash of the normalized email address and the date of the request rather than the address itself in the Mobile opt-out list. You may also call (833) 701-7823 for help with an email choice.
Retention and security
Detailed first-party analytics events are retained for up to 26 months and may then be deleted or converted into aggregated statistics. Lead, customer, application, security, and transaction records are retained as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, our business operations, dispute resolution, safety, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your analytics choice
You may opt out of Quad State Internet's first-party website analytics on this browser. The preference is stored in a first-party cookie and does not affect forms or services. Clearing browser cookies may clear the preference.
Current status: First-party analytics are enabled for this browser.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain uses. To submit a privacy request, email service@quadstateinternet.net or call (833) 701-7823. We may need to verify your identity and request before responding.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to Quad State Internet LLC at service@quadstateinternet.net or by calling (833) 701-7823.
