Paducah, KY – August 27, 2025 – Quad State Internet announced today that CEO Preston Louis Ursini has been selected as a Fellow in the ARIN 56 Fellowship Program, administered by the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN).
The Fellowship offers Internet professionals from the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean a selective opportunity to participate in multi-national Internet policy discussions at the ARIN 56 Public Policy and Members Meeting, taking place October 30–31, 2025, in Arlington, Texas, with both in-person and online participation options.
Ursini was chosen from a competitive pool of applicants based on his leadership in broadband development and his ability to contribute to policy conversations that impact Internet infrastructure, governance, and resource allocation across North America and the Caribbean. As both CEO of Quad State Internet and Executive Director of the Paducah Internet Exchange (PIE), he has championed initiatives that expand broadband access and strengthen connectivity across Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois.
“This opportunity is about making sure our region has a voice when decisions are made about the Internet,” Ursini said. “Western Kentucky is building infrastructure that matters not just locally, but nationally and internationally. I’m proud to bring that story to the table.”
Quad State Internet operates the region’s leading Internet Exchange Point, the Paducah Internet Exchange (PIE). This critical infrastructure keeps more Internet traffic local, making connections faster and more resilient for businesses, schools, and residents. By hosting and maintaining these resources, PIE allows multiple service providers to interconnect and share access, ensuring the entire region benefits from stronger, more reliable Internet service.
